What is Design Mode?

The Design Mode consists of 3 different control options:

• Layout Controls
• Dots
• Use Dot Profiles

These controls can be turned on and off, and have different purposes in the design of your website. 

Turning a control off when you are not using it temporarily hides the function from the screen. It can be turned on again when you need to use it.

Use the Design Mode menu on the Shelf at the bottom of the screen to check/uncheck the controls as needed. See the example below.
