Modified on Wed, 20 May, 2015 at 6:03 PM

This is the second part of How to Use Your Own Website Domain so if you haven't been through Part 1, you can do so here

From Part 1, you should already have pointed your domain’s “@” A (Host) record to our IP addressIf you’re unsure of where to do this in your account, or need additional help, please refer to the troubleshooting section below.

Verify the Domain Pointing

Once you have completed the previous steps and want to check to see if your domain was pointed correctly, you caVerify the Domain Pointing.

Remember that it can take up to 48 hours before you see the correct IP!

Back in Your Website

Your website must be published before proceeding. If your site isn’t yet published, you’ll see a “Publish” button in the bottom control toolbar.

Click here to publish your site for the first time.

Enter Your Domain, Verify & Save

1. Click the More button on the Shelf at the bottom of the screen, and click into “URL / Custom Tracking Code”.

2. Enter just your domain name (i.e. yourdomain.com not www.yourdomain.com or http://yourdomain.com) in the “Top Level Domain for This Site” field.

3. A green check mark icon will display, confirming that your domain has been pointed properly. If you’d like, select “Redirect Subdomain to Top Level Domain” (recommended) and then click Save Changes.

You’re done! You should now be able to go directly to your domain name and see your website display.

You can still go back to edit your site anytime using the same login URL you used before (i.e. yourname.mycompany.com/login).
